Mission & History
Rooted in Purpose. Evolving with Vision.

Mission
Our Mission
Empowering People, Enriching Lives
Our mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live the life they choose.
Since our founding, we’ve been committed to breaking down barriers, advancing inclusion, and opening doors to opportunity. What began with grassroots advocacy has grown into a comprehensive network of services that support personal growth, independence, and meaningful community connection.
As the needs of our community evolve, so do we. From housing support to community-based and employment services, we meet people where they are—walking alongside them as partners in possibility and progress. Together, we’re building a future where every person is seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
Our Vision
A world where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are empowered to live boldly, thrive independently, and are fully embraced as valued contributors with full membership in their chosen communities.
We envision a future where every person has the freedom to pursue their goals, make meaningful connections, and lead a life of purpose, dignity, and choice.
