Transitioning Youth
Turning Possibility Into a Plan
At Ardmore, we help young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) take their next step after high school. Our Transitioning Youth Services are designed to support youth as they move from school into adult life — with a focus on employment, independence, and community inclusion.
We work alongside youth, families, and support teams to create a future grounded in each person’s goals, strengths, and voice.
Who We Support
We serve youth ages 18 and older who are eligible for services through the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). We collaborate with families, Coordinators of Community Services (CCSs), schools, and community agencies to ensure a seamless and successful transition into adulthood.
